Verbal Bullets at the Super Eagles as they failed to qualify for Afcon 2015

If you are a full blown Nigerian, you should know by now that Nigerians don't consider failure an option when any competition is involved. We like to win and win and win some more. This attitude has made most of the Nigerian people unable to accept defeat the right way. The adage that says you win some, you lose some, shouldn't even be mentioned where the average Nigerian is.

Yesterday, most Nigerians pulled their verbal bullets on the Super Eagles for failing to qualify for the 2015 African Cup of Nations as they failed to win the match against South Africa which happened to be the only determinant for them securing a place in the tournament after recording poor results in their previous matches.

Before the yesterday match, it seemed most Nigerians were certain they would win, especially, after the previous match against Congo which Nigeria won, as some went on a betting game. Well, the 'unbelievable' happened and as usual, trust the people, they gave it to coach Stephen Keshi and his boys well enough.

Naija! I dey hail o! Una too much!

For the record; yesterday's match against South Africa ended in a 2-2 draw. While Nigeria needed to win the match in order to qualify, South Africa had already qualified irrespective of the outcome of the encounter yesterday.

It's a bit of a shame though, that Nigeria being the current defending champion wouldn't be taking part in the 2015 edition. (Now, I'm being Nigerian. LOL!)
