Ex-Super Eagles star, Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha has become an ambassador for 1960Bet sports betting and gaming site.
The legendary Nigerian footballer was unveiled on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at the 1960Bet stand during the just concluded Trade Fair in TBS, Onikan, Lagos.
Famous On Air Personality, Chaz B, is dead
Popular radio host, relationship coach and anchor of 'Sharing Life Issues' with Chaz B on Rhythm FM, Charles Bruce, aka Chaz B, has died. He died this morning November 22nd from kidney failure which he'd been battling for a while.
He was in his mid-50s and was married with kids.
National Assembly Fracas: Which way Nigeria?
The incident
that happened on Thursday, 20th November, is a big disgrace, in my
own terms. Such shouldn’t be heard of leaders. Isn’t it enough disgrace already
that our lawmakers curse one another and exchange punches during meetings? And now
this! No matter what it was that must have happened, that shouldn’t warrant a
man (let alone someone who most people look up to) to scale fence.

13 Nigerians make the list of Forbes' AFrica's 50 richest people
For the
first time in the four years that Forbes has been tracking Africa’s richest
people, Nigeria beats South Africa to the top.
This
year, business mogul and chairman of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote and 12
other Nigerians make the Forbes list of the 50 richest people in Africa. The 13
NIgerians have a combined fortune of N5.98tr ($36.02bn).
The
Nigerians on the list are Aliko Dangote ($21.6bn, N3.58tr) – 1st; Mike Adenuga
($4.6bn, N763.6bn) – 5th; Folorunsho Alakija ($2.5bn, N415bn) – 12th;
Theophilus Danjuma ($1.1bn, N182.6bn) – 22nd; Tony Elumelu ($1bn, N166bn) and
Orji Uzor Kalu ($1bn, N166bn) – 26th; Femi Otedola ($900m, N149.4bn) – 29th;

sabotage.
Led in
evidence by police lawyer, Mr. Chukwu Agwu, Agboyi testified that the aircraft
was on a circuit training mission and was flying very low.
The
witness said he led the team that investigated the collapse and also a member

Another Sierra Leone doctor dies of Ebola
A Sierra
Leonean senior health worker at the Hastings Treatment Centre in the outskirts
of Freetown, confirmed that a Sierra Leonean doctor died of Ebola on Tuesday,
bringing to seven the number of doctors that have died of the virus.
He said
on Wednesday in Freetown that Dr Michael Kargbo died on Tuesday afternoon.
He said
it was not clear how Kargbo, a 64-year-old dermatologist working at the
Magburaka Government Hospital, was infected with Ebola as he was not serving in
a frontline Ebola treatment unit.

Man confesses to breaking into homes to rape housewives
Dutse—Jigawa
State command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, has arrested
30-year-old Umar Mohammed of Sakwaya village in Dutse Local Government Area for
breaking into people’s homes to rape their wives.
According
to NSCDC, the accused person confessed that he specialized in breaking into
people’s houses in the area at midnight to forcibly rape housewives.
