An American naturalist filmed himself being eaten alive by the world’s biggest breed of snake for a television programme.
27-year-old
Paul Rosolie wore a carbon fibre armour suit with a three-hour supply
of oxygen, communication devices and cameras as he was devoured by a
25ft anaconda.
Animal
rights activists accused Rosolie of harming the snake but he refuted,
claiming the film was made to help raise awareness of dangers to the
habitat of anacondas. He insisted that the snake was not hurt, but
refused to say how he got out of the 181kg snake in Peru.
