Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, and a presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday cancelled a celebration organized to commemorate his 68th birthday.
Atiku stated that he could not continue with the celebration when the nation is mourning.
According to him: “There will be more years to celebrate birthdays, but tonight is a sad and sober one for Nigeria. It’s best we pray and go home.”
“I appeal to all who are able, to send donations to the victims of the bomb blast and Internally displaced Persons in the North East.”
