Big Brother Hotshots Housemates Chastised!

Being one of the fans of the Africa's Reality Show, Big Brother Africa, I cannot but talk about the show once in a while. This year's show, captioned Big Brother Africa Hotshots, had a total of twenty-six housemates from thirteen African countries, two from each, living in one house. Housemates get evicted every Sunday. This is the sixth week, with only fourteen housemates still in the show.

The fourteen housemates, this evening, got the shock of their lives when they were terribly scolded by the voice they all recognized and fondly called 'Big Brother' or 'Biggie'. They were chastised for their lack of keeping the house neat. Amidst shame, shock and giggles, they ran helter-skelter to put the house in order when it dawned on them that Biggie was not going to stop until they obeyed.

Here are some of the things Biggie said;
"What kind of housemates are these? Is this how you live in your houses? How do you expect Africa to vote for you when you are lazy to keep your environment clean? I am disappointed in you. Why are you disgracing your countries like this? At the end of the day, you expect to be congratulated and given Three Hundred Thousand US Dollars for being the last person standing. For what? For eating and drinking and being lazy?"
In most cases, referring directly to the housemates from Zimbabwe and South Africa, JJ and Nhlanhla, respectively.

See pictures below.

After some time of cleaning, the housemate from Mozambique, Trezagah, said, "I've never seen Beverly Hills (as they fondly call the house) look a bit neat".

So, I thought this behavior is not African and shouldn't be condoned. Thanks to Biggie for telling them as it is. But then, I think there are things the organizers of this show are definitely not doing right, in terms of moral, uniting Africa and even entertainment. Well, that is a story for another day. Hope to talk about it some time soon. So, keep reading.
